June has dedicated her career to improving the health and welfare of Indigenous people, particularly those living in remote areas.

Dr. Jackie Huggins:

Former Co-Chair of Reconciliation Australia.
Former Co-Chair of Queensland Domestic Violence Council and the AIATSIS Council.
Co-Commissioner for Queensland for the Inquiry into the Separation of Aboriginal Children.
Member of the Order of Australia (AM).

Antoinette Braybrook:

National convener of the National Family Violence Prevention and Legal Service, which comprises 14 organisations that provide specialist and culturally-safe legal services and support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander victims and survivors of family violence across Australia.

These three proud indigenous women of great achievement are just as happy when out in the bush in their own country as they are in the board rooms of Sydney and corridors of power in Canberra.
