To coincide with the 25th Anniversary of the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 on 1 March 2018, the Commission and PwC will be hosting a panel event to discuss the successes and challenges of the DDA.
Hear from special guest speaker, UN Special Rapporteur on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, Ms. Catalina Devandas Aguilar.
Comedian, journalist and ABC radio presenter Wendy Harmer will be the MC to a group of expert panellists, including:
- Damian Griffis, First Peoples Disability Network Australia
- Catia Malaquias, Starting With Julius, All Means All, Attitude Foundation, Down Syndrome Australia
- Professor Helen Meekosha, UNSW
- Therese Sands, People With Disability Australia
